McLaren Racing and Workday, a company that makes corporate cloud applications for HR and finance, extended their multi-year deal last year.
As part of this new way of working together, Workday will still be an Official Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team. McLaren and Workday have been working together for a number of years and use Workday’s financial planning tools, such as Workday Adaptive Planning. The Workday logo was first seen on the back wing of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri’s McLaren MCL38 during pre-season training before the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 2. For the 2024 Formula 1 season, the McLaren team uniforms will also have the Workday logo on them. This will help the company make choices more quickly and wisely.
CEO of Workday Emma Chalwin said, “McLaren is a world-famous racing team and a valued Workday customer.” We’re really excited to work together and grow our relationship because of this. Workday shares McLaren’s emphasis on efficiency and planning, which is the pinnacle of the industry. Our shared goal is to enable individuals to perform and adapt, whether on the racecourse or in the office.
We are excited to grow our collaboration with Workday. Its methods have made it much easier for us as a company to make quick and flexible decisions, and we’re excited to keep doing this in the future. Matt Dennington, who is in charge of McLaren Racing’s relationships and accelerator, said this.
