An important worldwide express service provider, DHL Express, has made a number of strategic appointment changes for the Asia-Pacific region in order to encourage the company’s continuous expansion.
To begin, the company has announced that Yung C. Ooi has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President for Commercial in Asia-Pacific. This position was previously held by Yasmin Khan, who had been the Senior Vice President. The previous position that Ooi held was that of Country Manager for DHL Express Taiwan. The commercial strategy of the company will be spearheaded by Ooi, who has vast experience in sales management and brand marketing communications. He will also exploit prospects for corporate expansion in the vibrant Asia-Pacific area.
Chee Choong Ng has been appointed to the position of Managing Director for DHL Express Taiwan, successfully succeeding Yung in his previous post as Managing Director of DHL Express Taiwan. Ng has previously served as the Managing Director of DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau before this assignment.
Andy Chiang has been appointed to the position of Managing Director for DHL Express Hong Kong & Macau, which indicates that the business has made this decision. In his more than three decades of experience working for DHL Express, Chiang has held a variety of finance positions in both the regional and country levels.
Previously serving as Vice President, Commercial, DHL Express Korea, Han Ji Hun (Michael) has been elevated to the position of Managing Director at Korea. This elevation comes after he was promoted from his previous position.
