Following the launch of its ‘We Care’ program in October 2023 across 51 markets worldwide, AXA has improved and introduced multiple employee benefits with effect from 1 January 2024, allowing employees to reserve more time with their families during every significant life stage. This move is intended to further promote work-life balance in the workplace.
The enhanced employee benefits include:
-
a noteworthy expansion of paid co-parent leave, from 20 to 40 days.
-
An extra five days of paid leave for infertility are available to staff members who get assisted reproductive procedures, like embryo transfer and in vitro fertilization. The employee may take two days of fertility leave to be with their family if their partner receives assisted reproductive services.
-
five extra days of paid pregnancy loss leave for staff members who experience miscarriages. The employee is also entitled to two days of paid leave in the event that their partner experiences a miscarriage. This time allows them to support their partner during this trying period.
-
A five-day paid caregiver leave has been added, and employees who are caring for close family members who need extra care because of a serious illness or disability would be eligible.
-
Employees affected by domestic or sexual violence will be eligible for five days of paid absence. Employees will receive additional help during these difficult times based on their individual needs.

In order to offer a supportive work environment for individuals dealing with menstrual health issues, menopause, or andropause, the ‘Healthy You’ program will be developed further. Additionally, a range of resources will be provided to assist staff members in resolving various health issues.
