Malaysian civil servants receive special aid for EidAccording to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, civil servants would get RM500 as exceptional financial support in honor of Eid.

According to the prime minister, civil servants in Grade 56 and lower are qualified for the special financial assistance.

Additionally, the Prime Minister declared that veterans who fall into the pensionable or non-pensionable categories would get finacial support too.  RM250 in addition to government retirees.

“I have informed the Treasury for the money to be channeled beginning Friday (April 5),” he said at the Prime Minister’s Department monthly gathering on Monday (April 1).

An RM2,000 initial incentive payment was given to civil officials. Including contract appointees ranked 56 and below, on February 23 in connection with the Public Service Remuneration System (SSPA).

In other news, he declared that this Wednesday will mark the start of the Rahmah Cash Aid (STR) Phase 2.

Meanwhile, Anwar requested that civil officials explain government programs and support to the public with greater vigor. It is in order to lessen criticism of the unity administration.
