With a score of 78.21 and also a ranking of 17th internationally, Singapore is the most prosperous country in Southeast Asia, according to the most recent data from the Legatum Prosperity Index.
Meanwhile, the neighboring country, Malaysia, is ranked 2nd in Southeast Asia as the most prosperous country. It also ranked 43rd internationally.
According to the rating of the prosperity in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is ranked 3rd, Thailand is ranked 4th, and Vietnam is ranked 5th.
Brunei and Timor-Leste, on the other hand, are not included in the ranking.
