The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) takes the marketability of graduates very seriously and there is no denying that the number of graduates in the country is increasing every year.

However, Mohamed Khalid said the unemployment rate of graduates has decreased to 3.7% in 2022 compared to 4.1% in 2021.

He added that his side acknowledged that there are many postgraduate holder who have not yet found employment.

This is because those with postgraduate do not have many research centers or institutions either at the government or private level that offer employment.
