Income tax e-Filing starts today!

According to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), both individual and non-individual taxpayers may now pay their income tax and submit their Tax Return Form for the Year of Assessment 2023 online.

According to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN), both individual and non-individual taxpayers may now pay their income tax and submit their Tax Return Form for the Year of Assessment 2023 online.

Taxpayers can use either the official HASiL portal at https://www.hasil.gov.my or the MyTax portal at https://mytax.hasil.gov.my to use the e-filing service in order to pay their income tax.

Statement by LHDN mentioned that tax agents are also encouraged to submit their work using the Tax Agent e-filing System (TAeF) service at https://taef.hasil.gov.my/.

In addition, according to Bernama, LHDN stated that taxpayers who have registered and are accessing MyTax for the first time should generate their Individual Digital Certificate by going to the MyTax Portal > Select Identification Type > Identification Number > Submit and choosing e-KYC (for smartphones) or e-CP55D (for computers, laptops, and smartphones).

Taxpayers can use the LHDN official portal and the following links in order to obtain additional information about the e-Filing program for the Year of Assessment 2024.
