The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in Kelantan arrested two civil servants today on suspicion of submitting three false claims about the equipment supply to a school worth about RM18,000.
According to sources, the first suspect, a man, arrested at about 9 this morning when asked to testify at the Kelantan MACC office.
In contrast, the second suspect, a woman, arrested at her home at about 1 in the afternoon, according to Bernama.

“The two suspects, both in their 50s, believed to have made false claims in 2019.
The male suspect, who is also the owner of a company, believed to have conspired with the female suspect to submit three false claims to the school.
Meanwhile, Kelantan MACC Director Rosli Husain, confirmed the arrest, and the case investigated under Section 28(1)(C) and 18 of the MACC Act 2009.
